Red5 vs FMS

Rob Silverton choses Red5 over its alternative, the Flash Media Server (FMS). Although, he titles his post as “Red5 vs FMS (and getting to grips with Java)” , he really doesn’t delve into the depths of the feature-by-feature comparison.  Rob seems like a Java newbie but he is certainly impressed with Red5 being a Java EE compliant application and thereby allowing its users to leverage the robust Java platform.
