Adobe AIR 1.5 Released

Adobe AIR 1.5 is now available. Some of the new features are as follow:

• Includes Flash Player 10 — AIR 1.5 now includes the new and powerful version of the Flash Player. Therefore, you can do all the good things like custom filters, blend modes, and fills with Adobe Pixel Bender, include the new 3D effects and improve the quality of video playback with dynamic streaming.
• Brings in the advantages of the new WebKit — AIR application built using the HTML technologies gain performance enhancements with Squirrelfish, the new bytecode interpretor which speeds up JavaScript execution.
• Supports encryption of the local database — Locally stored data in the SQLite database can be encrypted easily.
