Escape from the Browser?

Tech Crunch posted an interesting video and a write-up summarizing Sun’s Jonathan Schwartz’s take on where the next generation of venues for the networked applications are. With the recent release of JavaFX, this may also give us a clue on where Sun things it may have its advantages as opposed to its prominent competition from Microsoft (Silverlight) and Adobe(Flash Platform — Flex/AIR).
